R.H. Bassett Passed Away
Roy Horace Bassett, 67, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 1966 at his home in Muldraugh, Ky. He was the owner of the Tijuana Restaurant in Muldraugh and was a member of Stithton Baptist Church in Radcliff, Ky. He was a native of Leitchfield, Ky.
He is survive4d by two sisters, Mrs. Curtis L. (Magdalene) Stewawrt of Muldraugh, Ky and Mrs. Frank (Bertha) Read of 1814 DIxi8e Highway, Louisville, Ky. He is also survived by three nieces, Mrs. James Patton of Muldraugh, Ky, Mrs. Robert Robinson of Anchorage, Ky, and Mrs. James W. Clark of Louisville, Ky and one nephew, Mr. Harry L. Bassett of Louisville, Ky.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25, 1966 at W.G. Hardy Valley Chapel, Valley Station, Ky, conducted by Rev. Gene Waggoner, pastor of Stithton Baptist Church, Radcliff, Ky, who was assisted by Rev. Vernon Taylor, pastor of Muldraugh Baptist Church. Burial was in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Pallbearers, James Patton, Harry L. Bassett, Robert Robinson, Bryant Payne, James W. Clark and Judge H.L. Froman.
