Bessette of Belmont died Monday, October 17, 1960, in the Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, following a long illness. Mr. Bessette was born on August 23, 1889. He was married to Anna McAllister, who died several years ago. He was a retired Borden Company employee Survivors include a son, Howard Bessette of Belmont; a brother, Alex Bessette of Wellsville; three grandchildren, and several nieces and cousins. Funeral services are being held this (Thursday) morning in St. John of the Cross Church at Whitesville, Rev. Nicholas Rosella conducting the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in the Whitesville Rural Cemetery.
