Edward Lee Bass
Ed went to be with our Lord and Saviour on June 12, 2006. Born in Success, Ark., in April, 1931, he moved to Bellingham in 1947, where he died at home.
He is survived by wife Pat, his 5 children ? Barbara Williams of Burlington, Gary of Ferndale, Morris of Lynden, Robert and Brenda of Bellingham; his 2 stepchildren, Michael Davis of Arlington and Suzanne Ramey of Colorado; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ed barbered for many years in Bellingham. He was the start of a long line of Bass barbers. He enjoyed hunting and salmon fishing, but his great love was in teaching the Gospel to the lost.
Officiating will be Joe R. Price, evangelist at Mt. Baker Church of Christ. Visitation is one hour prior to his service on Friday, June 16th, at 1:30 pm at Moles-Greenacres Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. We want to give a special thanks to Dr. Brian Patterson and staff and to the EMTs. The Bass Family
