The service will be at 3 p.m. today at First Assembly of God Church in Cairo, where she was a member, with burial at Long Branch Cemetery in Cairo. A native of Pensacola, she had lived in Cairo many years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Bennett of Perry and Murdell Lucas of Lake City; four sons, Rufus Bass of Lake City, Ruben Bass of Perry, Sherwood Bass of Ponce de Leon and Manuel Bass of Thomasville, Ga.; a sister, Rosie Watson of Pensacola; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
