Elizabeth A. Bassett
Elizabeth A. Bassett, 88, of Merritt Road died Thursday at the Waterview Villa Nursing Home. She was the widow of Thomas E. Bassett.
Born in Boston, a daughter of the late James and Mary T. (Lynch) Ryan, she lived in East Providence for 56 years.
Mrs. Bassett was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society at St. Martha's Church.
She leaves two sons, Paul E. Bassett of East Providence, Herbert F. Bassett of Seekonk, and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
