Richard E. Bergeron (Picture included)
BERGERON, RICHARD E. 85, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Thursday December 8, 2016. He was the husband of the late Marion B. (Lewis) Bergeron. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Adelard and Adeline (Bessette) Bergeron. Mr. Bergeron served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was the proprietor of the Texaco Station in Johnston and was a mechanic for the Johnston Police Dept. for 11 years before retiring in 1990. He is survived by his children, Deborah L. Delsignore (Jerry) of Glocester, Lori J. Basile of Johnston, Susan L. Fairbanks (Bob) of Exeter and Scott R. Bergeron (Julie) of Johnston. He was the grandfather of Rhonda, Steven, Christina, Stephanie, Carissa, Michael, Noah and Layna; great-grandfather of Jade, Sophia, Savannah and Cameron. His funeral will be held Monday at 10 am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
