Howard E. Bassett
Final rites for Howard Everett Bassett, 56, Route 5, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Beaverdam Methodist church. The Revs. Edgar Petry and L. Dow Fauver will officiate, with burial in Woodlawn cemetery, Beaverdam.
Mr. Bassett died Monday morning in his home, after a three-month illness. He was born in Bath-tp, Allen-co, and was engaged in farming.
Surviving are his widow, Doris; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Skinner, Lafayette; five sons, Louis, Route 2; William and James, both of Columbus; Thomas and Kenneth, both at home; four grandchildren; a brother, Harrison Bassett, Route 2; sis sisters, Mrs. Zora Maynard, 542 Michael-av; Mrs. Florence Saume, 2000 Elida-rd; Mrs. Effa Michael, Cairo; Mrs. Charles Marshall, Route 2, Columbus Grove; Mrs. Vernice Early and Mrs. Edythe Conaway, both of Route 5.
The body will remain in Davis-Miller and Son funeral home until Wednesday afternoon, then to be removed to the residence to remain until service.

Howard Everett Bassett
Howard Everett Bassett, 56, Route 5, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday in his home following an illness of three months. The body will remain at the Davis-Miller and Son funeral home pending completion of arrangements.
