William ?Bill? Bessette Jr., age 72, of Clintonville passed away peacefully on Friday, October 5, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
William Edward Bessette was born on August 12, 1946 in Ogdensburg to William and Margaret (Keller) Bessette Sr. He grew up and attended school in New London. Bill was employed at various places over the years but spent much of his time farming, hauling hay, and doing field work. Bill was united in marriage on September 28, 2002 to Diana L. Niemuth-Konrad in Clintonville.
Bill enjoyed going out in the boat fishing, camping with his trailer, and looking at old cars. He liked music, especially classic country and 50?s and 60?s rock. Another favorite pastime was cutting his grass; and sometimes also his neighbor?s lawn. Bill will be remembered most as a kind and generous person who often helped others.
Survivors include his wife Diana; and three children, John (Leslie) Konrad of Westboro, Kristy Konrad of Appleton, and Shaun Konrad of Clintonville. There are two grandchildren, Johnathan and Anna. There are four siblings, James (Sharon) Bessette of New London, Charles (Sally) Bessette of Bear Creek, Margaret (Erv) Meier of Columbus, and Vernon Bessette of Clintonville. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Carl.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 21st from 1:00 ? 4:00 PM at Memory Lanes, 250 County Road I, Clintonville. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting the family.
