  Notes	Ithaca Daily Journal, November 11, 1875 Died Covert ? In Ithaca, Nov. 11th, 1875, Esther E. Covert, aged 73 years, 7 months and 26 days. Geneva Courier, December 1, 1875 Mrs. George Covert, of Ithaca, N.Y., died in that place on the 11th inst., aged seventy-three. On the 17th the Ithaca Daily Journal announced the death of her husband Mr. George Covert, aged seventy-eight. It is but a short time ago that the children of the family, to the number nine, with the grandchildren and relatives, assembled at the old home in Ithaca to celebrate the ?golden wedding? of Mr. and Mrs. Covert, and it was a happy gathering, that made the old folks bright and cheerful. The deceased were the parents-in-law of Hon. Alonzo B. Cornell.
