Mr. Bass, the widower of Viola Doyle Bass, leaves two daughters, Dorothy Allene Bass Russell of Mt. Juliet and Betty Jane Bass Phillips of Cottontown; three sons, John Robert Bass of Hendersonville, Houston Bass of Cunningham and James E. Bass of Livingston; a sister, Ola Bass Doyle of Humboldt, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
