Roland W. Bassett Dies in Scarsdale
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Cooke Funeral Home in White Plains for Roland W. Bassett of the Buckingham Apartments who died at his home Tuesday morning. Mr. Bassett had been ill for a long time when death came from a heart attack and other complications Burial was in Ferncliff.
Born in Philadelphia fifty-three years ago, Mr. Bassett, was the son of the late Josiah and Mary Pennock Bassett. He had been associated with Sweet-Orr and Company in New York for thirty years and had lived in Scarsdale for the last twelve years.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Rees Bassett, and a son, Edgar, both of the Scarsdale address.
