Wanda Marie Bassett
Wanda Marie Bassett passed away on April 29, 2018 at the age of 82. She is survived by her three sons, Gary Bassett of Foristell, David Bassett of Wentzville, Steven (Becky) Bassett of Fenton; daughter, Susan (Ted) Sitze of Wentzville; brother Bob Pruett; two granddaughters, Stacey (Chris) Kegley, Shelby (Andrew) Meier; four grandsons, Matt (Jill) Sitze, Ryan Biggs, Andrew Bassett, Mike Bassett; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Kyler, Audrey, Jack, Andrea, Sam, Luke, Simon.
She is preceded in death by her father, Homer Pruett, mother, Lexie Pruett, husband, Von Ray Bassett, brother, Lester Pruett, brother, Earl Pruett, brother, Don Pruett.
Wanda enjoyed traveling with her husband Von Ray. She graduated with her associate's degree in business in 1995, and worked several years in the banking industry. She loved her family and always had a smile that lit up the room. She enjoyed being a den mother, and was very involved with the Church of Christ in Wentzville. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service is Friday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, MO 63385.
