Obituary, Joseph Bessette
Joseph Bessette of 23 Hawk St., Cohoes, husband of the late Isabelle Allen Bessette, died Thursday at Cohoes Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
Mr. Bessette, a lifelong resident of Cohoes, was employed as a machinist for the D&H Railroad and was a communicant of St. Joseph?s Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Warren Rasmussen of Waterford; a sister, Mrs. Alfred Lajeunesse of Cohoes, and three granddaughters.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday from the Quandt Funeral Home, 23 Broad St., Waterford and at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph?s Church, Cohoes, where a Requiem High Mass will be celebrated.
