Survivors include her husband, Calvin Bassett of Crossett; three sons, Raymond Bassett of Las Vegas, NV, Phil Bassett of Corning, Iowa, and Russell Bassett of Crossett; a daughter, Vannesa Porter of Crossett; two sisters, Velma Goodwin of Cushing, OK, and Erma Kindle of Jones, OK; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Grave-side services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Simms Cemetery with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Arrangements were by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
