  Notes	Victoria Advocate, 5 Oct 2010 Virgil Bassett STRATHCONA, Minn. - Virgil Bassett, 82, of Strathcona, Minn., formerly of Victoria, died Sept. 27, 2010. Funeral services with military honors were held on Oct. 2, 2010 in Grace Evangelical Church of Strathcona. Interment will be in Memory Gardens at Victoria. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bertie; daughters, Carla (Dave) Janes of Strathcona, Minn., Sheila Webel of Harrisburg, Pa., and Lisa (James) Leopold of Seguin; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. Arrangements were with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush, Minn., 218-782-2486.
