Kevin J. Bessette
ORANGE - Kevin J. Bessette, 58, of Johnson Road, died early Friday morning, June 7, 2013 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester.
Born in Belchertown on July 27, 1954, he was a son of the late Leo and Rena (Dodge) Bessette and grew up in Orange, graduating from Ralph C. Mahar Regional School in the Class of 1972.
In 1998, Kevin married Elaine (Hebert) and have enjoyed over 15 years together.
Kevin had worked at Erving Paper Mill, the former Lunt Silversmiths in Greenfield, as well as at the L. S. Starrett Company in Athol.
Kevin enjoyed sports, especially playing softball and going bowling. He had also enjoyed going skiing and was an avid New England Patriots fan.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and had been a member of the Good Times Athletic Club, raising money for children's charities.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Elaine Bessette of Orange; a brother, Robert Bessette of Orange; a sister, Donna Ryder of Greenfield; a step brother, Dan King of Orange; father in law, Peter Hebert Sr. of Athol; brother in law, Peter Hebert Jr. of Orange; and sister in law, Christine Carter of Ashburnham.
Kevin's mother died on March 22, 1994, father on November 20, 2009, and a brother, Leo Bessette Jr., died on March 7, 1993.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced.
Interment will be private.

Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
