  Notes	Fort Collins Coloradoan, Colorado November 25, 2000 Charleene Bassett Charleene S. Bassett, 74, of Fort Collins, died Sunday, November 19, 2000, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Dennis Kamper will officiate. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Charleene Smith was born September 17, 1926, in Chase County, Nebraska, to Leroy Smith and Eva Andrews Smith. She lived in Fort Collins from 1950 to 1977. After living in San Diego and Washington, D.C. she returned to Fort Collins in 1989. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening and politics. Survivors include two sons, Richard Bassett of Denver and Thomas J. Bassett Jr. of San Diego; two daughters, Sharon L. Altergott and Donna Melton of Fort Collins; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Colorado or the Leukemia Foundation in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
