Maureen Bessette Francoeur
BESSETTE FRANCOEUR, MAUREEN A., 72, of Orchard Meadows Drive, died peacefully in her home with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. She was the wife of Roger A. Francoeur. She was born in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Emil and Josephine (Podsiadlo) Henault. She lived in Smithfield previously living in Lincoln, Saunderstown and Jamestown. Maureen was a graduate of Bryant University (59) where she also earned her MBA (73). She was also a CPA in the State of RI. She was an Asst. Professor with Johnson & Wales University retiring in 2001. She also worked at RI Dept of Higher Education and the former Dr. Joseph Ladd Center. Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Pamela L. Bessette of Hopkinton, Todd A. Bessette of Williamsburg, VA, Spencer W. Bessette of Littleton, CO; her step-children, Debra M. Bowler of Northford, CT, Keith R. Francoeur and Scott M. Francoeur both of Smithfield and her beloved grandchildren, Mason, Kendall, Seon, Zachary, Chelsea, Delanna and Nasly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be private. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
