Robert L. Hagins
Robert L. “Roy” Hagins, 65, of 4100 Boxwood Drive, died Thursday.
Born in Richland County, he was a son of the late James A. and Vindel Lee Hagins. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Pacific Masonic Lodge No. 325, Earlwood Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Louise Bass Hagins, a son, Robert W. Hagins of Columbia; daughters, Mrs. Ann Johnson of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mrs. Susan Stanley of Prosperity, Mrs. Alice Croxton of Columbia and Mrs. Jackie Whetstone of Lexing; brothers, Ocia and Archie L. Hagins of Columbia and James A. Hagins of Somers Point, New Jersey; and grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, conducted by the Reverend George E. Turbeville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will by Buddy, Don and Steve Knight and Johnny, Jimmy and Bobby Hagins.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
