Beatrice Bessette
Beatrice Bessette, 82, of 251 Buxton St., Slatersville, died Friday at the Landmark Medical Center-Woonsocket Unit. She was the wife of Edward A. Bessette.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Aldage and Rebecca (Melancon) Menard, she lived in North Smithfield since 1950.
Mrs. Bessette was an assembler for the Polytop Corp. for 12 years before retiring in 1972. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, and the St. John Senior Citizens.
Besides her husband she leaves two brothers, Gerald Menard of Cumberland, and Hugh Menard of Woonsocket.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 at St. John the Evanglist Church, Church Street. Burial will be in St. John the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
