David Alan Bassett, age 53, died Saturday, April 11, 2020, at home in Leicester, North Carolina.
David was born January 13, 1967, to Lillian Roberta Jones Bassett and James Maurice Bassett in Asheville, North Carolina. For twenty-three years, David worked with Southeastern Container Incorporated. He was a member of Brookstone Church.
David was preceded in death by his mother, and by a brother, John Bassett.
He is survived by his father; his wife of thirty-two years, Angela Ward Bassett, and by his children, Morgan, Isaiah, Annie and Emma Bassett, all of Leicester, North Carolina. He is also survived by very special family members Earl and Agnes Ward, Pam (Alan) Gibson, Cindy (Mark) Jeffords, Barbara Bassett, 18 nieces/nephews and 16 great nieces/nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
A private family service will be held in David?s honor.
