Therese M. (Bessette) Primeau
Longtime resident of Fitchburg, 87
FITCHBURG -- Therese M. (Bessette) Primeau, 87, of Leominster, formerly of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at The Highlands, Fitchburg.
She was the wife of the late Lucien J. Primeau who died in July 1997.
Mrs. Primeau was born in Montreal Canada, January 26, 1928, a daughter of Romeo and Regina (Langevin) Bessette and resided in Fitchburg for over 50 years. She was a member of the Madonna of the Holy Rosary Church.
Mrs. Primeau had worked as a home health aide as well as in the cafeteria of the Fitchburg Public School System.
She leaves three sons, Pierre Primeau of Westminster, Marc Primeau and his wife, Lisa, of California, Donald Primeau and his wife, Heather, of Lowell; a daughter, Suzanne Wilcox and her husband, Craig along with 7 grandchildren: Marc, Truly, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua, Emelie and Andrew and three great grandchildren: Makai, Jaxson and Ellie; five brothers, Andre Bessette, Jacques Bessette, Jean Bessette, Armand Bessette, Paul Bessette; nine sisters, Helene LaPointe, Lucille Auger, Simone Belise, Marcelle Bessette, Pauline Chamberland, Louise Paquin, Denise Mantha, Gabrielle Bessette and Rita Bessette. She also leaves a dear friend, Tony Norton of Fitchburg.
PRIMEAU -- Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10 AM at the Pieta Chapel of St. Joseph's Cemetery, 486 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg.
