David Bassett
BASSETT, David Paul, 54, of Sistersville, West Virginia, passed away September 8, 2010 at Sistersville General Hospital.
He was born July 30, 1956, a son of Mildred Ann Smithson Bassett of Weirton, West Virginia and the late Norman Paul Bassett.
He was the City Manager for the City of Sistersville and he was a veteran of the Army.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Jesse Bassett.
He is survived by his wife, Alisa Ann Henthorn Bassett; daughters, Cherika (Tristan) Vaughn of Sistersville and Christa (Nathan) Nash of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Allen Bassett of Brooksville, Florida; sisters, Sally Greathouse of New Cumberland, West Virginia and Donna Terraza of Baltimore, Maryland; and grandchildren, Abagayle Nash and Manowah Vaughn.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
