W. Hugh Bassett
DECATUR ? Services for W. Hugh Bassett will be at 2 p.m. Monday in A.S. Turner and Sons with burial in Decatur Cemetery. Bassett died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Wilder Bassett of Decatur, son William Hugh of Snellville; daughter Yvonne B. Bouras of Lilburn; brothers Jack T. Bassett of Decatur and Paul T. Bassett of Richmond, Va.; niece Patsy Turner of Forsyth; and three grandchildren.

BASSETT ? Evelyn Wilder Bassett, 84, of Thomaston, formerly of Decatur died Friday September 11, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hugh Bassett and her four brothers and their wives, Walter Howard and Ann P. Wilder, James Clayton and Doris A. Wilder, Jack Wilder, Jr. and Evelyn M. Wilder, and Nathan Clarence and Marty B. Wilder. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Wilder Watts of Zebulon; step-children William Stafford of Snellville and Yvonne Bouras of Lilburn; three step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday September 13, 2009 at Decatur Cemetery with Rev. Tom Mozley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at A.S. Turner & Sons.
