  Notes	Providence Journal, Wednesday, April 10, 1996 Joseph F. Bessette West Greenwich JOSEPH F. BESSETTE, 66, of Mishnock Road, a machinist at Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. for 23 years until retiring in 1980, died Monday at the Coventry Health Center. He was the husband of Gladys E. (Morin) Bessette. Born in Providence, a son of the late Leon and Margaret (McMahon) Bessette, he lived in West Warwick before moving to West Greenwich 27 years ago. Mr. Bessette was an Army veteran of World War II. He served in the Army National Guard from 1957 to 1965. He was a lifetime member of the Mishnock Volunteer Fire Company. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Elizabeth A. Bessette of Providence and Jane M. Bessette of West Greenwich; a son, John A. Bessette of Johnston; two brothers, Leo Bessette of Coventry and Edward Bessette in Georgia; three sisters, Kathleen Bousquet and Irene Pysz, both of Coventry, and Rita Hickey of West Warwick; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
