A protective, loving father, grandfather and son. A loyal friend, giving to whomever needed. A man who always stood up for what was right and spoke his mind, it didn't matter who you were! A great listener. We could talk to him about anything. He was our comfort zone. He was our sweet daddy! He will be forever missed and never forgotten. May you fly with the angels in heaven, daddy. Free from all the hurt and pain you were in. We love and miss you more than words can say each and everyday. Survived by daughters, Christina Bassett-McCarthy and Autumn Bassett, and mother, Patricia Olden.
