Gerald F. Bessette
Gerald F. Bessette, 79, of 95 Towne St., an employee of the C. Ray Randall Co. for 40 years until retiring in 1980, died yesterday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Fernande (Audette) Bessette.
Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Henry and Eugenie (Willett) Bessette, he lived in North Attleboro for 56 years.
Mr. Bessette was a member of Thomas P. McDonough Council, Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the North Attleboro Elks and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Phyllis C. Rancourt and Janice A. Falzone, both of North Attleboro; two sisters, Marie Lennon of Cumberland and Helen McLean of Weymouth; a brother, Leo Bessette of Pawtucket; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., with a funeral Mass at 10 at St. Mark's Church, Stanley Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
