Joe Bass, Jr. - Macon - Joe Bass, Jr., of 824 Eisenhower Parkway died Monday, May 23, 2005 at Laurel Baye Healthcare. Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Dr. Eddie D. Smith will officiate. Born in Hancock County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joe and Ophelia Bass. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors: sons, James H. Bass, Sterling Bass, Freddie (Marcia) Bass; daughter, JoeAnn (George) McCoy, all of Macon; sister, Maggie Lott, Baltimore, Maryland; devoted nephew, Johnny Lott, Baltimore, Maryland; brother-in-law, Harold Stevenson, Macon; sister-in-law, Emma (Walter) Wahls, Sacramento, California; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
