Gladys Jean Bass-Moss
BASS-MOSS, GLADYS JEAN; age 62; passed away Monday, August 15, 2011; at her residence. Mrs. Moss leaves to cherish her memory: children, Lisa Moss and Lori Wells-Watts; mother, Lucile Moore; brother, Trustee Robert Bass; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four nieces; four nephews; special friend, Mary Linwood; and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Moss was preceded in death by her father, Will Oliver Bass; brother, Alonzo Burford; grandmother, Gussie Lee Seay. Family Hour 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at New Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, 124 Prospect St., with Funeral Service commencing immediately at 11 a.m. Pastor William Parker Jr., officiating. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Monday. Mrs. Moss will Lie in State in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
