Erickson, 70, of 57 Drive, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, formerly of Henderson, Nev., died early Thursday morning, Jan. 3, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. She was the wife of Ronald J. Erickson Sr. since Dec. 16, 1967. She was a floor manager for the Toys-R-Us Corporation, Moreno Valley and Roland Heights, Calif. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., she was a daughter of the late Ernest Arthur and Guadalupe Mary (Arellano) Bassett. She formerly attended and was a member of the ladies auxiliary of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Henderson. She enjoyed attending the Palmerton Area Senior Group meetings. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Antoinette of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sons, Ronald J. Jr., and his wife, Kelly, with whom she resided, Michael, and his wife, Crystal, of Mesa, Ariz., and Richard, and his wife, Casey, of Banning, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Edward, and his wife, Marlene, of Manila, The Philippines, and Ernest A. Jr. of Riverside, Calif. Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lehighton, with the Rev. Michael E. Ahrensfield officiating. Private interment, Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
