Gena M. Bassett Warnock
Gena M. Bassett Warnock, 53, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Hanford, CA.
Gena was born Dec. 7, 1963 in Hanford, CA and was a lifelong area resident. She worked as a CNA at The Hacienda, then devoted her life to raising her four children and spending time with her 16 grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children, Joseph Warnock, Chantell Warnock, Cherei Warnock and Austin Traylor, 16 grandchildren, her mother and step-father, Beverly and Wayne Hagood; her father, Gene Bassett, her sister Lori Verdegaal & her husband, Darren, three nephews Grant, Garth and Gage, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 5:00 pm, Friday, March 17th at Whitehurst McNamara Funeral Home for viewing and reflection. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 18th at Saint Brigid's Catholic Church. The family asks those attending please wear bright colors in celebration of her life.
