Kimberly Ana Gonyo
KIMBERLY ANN GONYO - COLCHESTER - Kimberly Ann Gonyo, 47, of Colchester, passed into the loving arms of our Holy Father on Dec. 23, 2014, at her home after a period of illness. Kim was born on Feb. 8, 1967, in Connecticut to Sandra (Bessette) Gonyo and Robert S. Gonyo Sr. Kim graduated from Burlington High School. She enjoyed swimming, woodworking, fishing and camping. Before she became ill, Kim was active in her community by helping her neighbors with various chores and by baking and giving freely from her garden. Kim is survived by her mother, Sandi LaBree and stepfather, Rodney LaBree of Virginia; her father, Robert S. Gonyo Sr. and his wife, Freda, of Connecticut; four brothers, Robert Jr. of Fairfax, Jeffery of Kalamazoo, Mich., Randall of South Hero, and Billy of Virginia; stepsisters, Debra and John Cyrus of Connecticut, and Barbara and Paul Nelson of Maryland; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Kim also leaves her beloved dogs, Diva and Leah, and cat, Tiger. She will be missed by family and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, George and Francelia (Wells) Bessette; and paternal grandparents, George and Mary (Steere) Gonyo; and step-grandparents, Clair and Mary LaBree. Friends and family can gather to remember Kim and celebrate her life at her home in Windemere Estates, 87 Mt. Sterling Ave., Colchester, between Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, through Jan. 7, 2015; calling hours will be from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Arrangements are with Stephen C. Gregory and Son Cremation Services, South Burlington.
