WOONSOCKET - Gerard D. Jabotte 52, of Cass Ave. died Thursday March 5, 2015 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lisa M. (Chippo) Jabotte. Born in Woonsocket son of the late Joseph and Anita (Bessette) Jabotte.
Gerard worked as a technician for Wojcik Able Co. before he became disabled.
He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and served as Road Captain. He was also the founder of Donovan's Bike Fund.
Besides his wife Lisa , he is survived by his two children, Holly Jabotte, of Manville, and Joseph Jabotte of Woonsocket. Two step-children, Amy and her husband Brett Vellturo of Attleboro, MA, and Matthew Durand of Woonsocket, RI., one brother, Joseph Jabotte of Burrillville, RI and six grandchildren.
He was also the brother of the late Lucille Miner.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 10 A.M. in The Valley Chapel, 130 Douglas St. Uxbridge, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations to Donovan's Bike Fund, 394 Cass Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895 in Gerard's memory would be appreciated.
The S.DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, RI is in charge of the arrangements.
