Clarence L. Bessette
BEDFORD ? Clarence L. Bessette, 97, formerly of Pembroke, died January 11, 2015, at Beford Hills, Bedford.
Born October 16, 1917, in Belmont, he was the son of Leo and Melvina (Gagne) Bessette, and was raised in Belmont and lived in Pembroke for 27 years.
He servied in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the VFW in Pembroke and Dover.
Clarence was a barber at Pease Air Force Base for over 38 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha Ma (Rock) Parent Bessette who died in 1972.
Per Clarence?s wishes, he will be cremated and buried with his wife in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Newmarket.
