Gloria Chervenicky

Plainfield - Gloria Chervenicky, 84, of 388 Tarbox Rd. beloved wife of Stephen Chervenicky passed away Wednesday afternoon at Village Manor in Plainfield. She was born November 26, 1927 in Jewett City a daughter of the late Albert and Hermine (Grenier) Bessette. Mrs. Chervenicky attended Canterbury schools and graduated from Griswold High School. She was devoted to her home and family. She was an avid reader and Red Sox Fan. Mrs. Chervenicky also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Besides her husband she leaves a son Steven Chervenicky of Olathe, CO. Two daughters Karen Chervenicky of Plainfield and Judith Ames of Norwich. Four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Joseph and Francis Bessette and three sisters Rita Estes, Lorraine Gauthier and Elaine Boisvert. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home 595 Norwich Rd. Plainfield. Burial will be private.
