He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Bass and two sisters: Maxine Bass and Mary Brooks. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty Jane Bass, five nieces, a really good friend James Pfeister and several other friends .Funeral services will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
