      ST. ALBANS ? On Feb. 15, 2009, Arcella Hope Bessette passed away peacefully while surrounded by three generations of her loving family. Arcella was predeceased by her husband of over fifty years, Clayton Clifford Bessette. The couple had six chileren, twelve grandchileren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and four step grandchildren. Besides doting on her family, ?Mimi? spent a lot of her time outdoors fishing and enjoying nature. She also enjoyed her time volunteering at the Saint Albans City School Library and also as a Campfire Girl Leader. Arcella, with the help of her famly, learned to drive at the gae of sixty-two. Arcella spent her time visiting her family and going out with her friends. She then met, Bob Heald and spent many weekends rooting for the Red Sox, shopping ,dancing, dining and living life to the fullest. ?Mimi? knew each family members favorite meal and always had it ready when they came to visit. She encouraged eadh of her chileren to identify their passion and then to go out and achive it. ?Mimi? will be missed by all. She is survived by her six children and their spouses; Susan Bisson-Salmon of St. Albans; Carl and Betty Bessette of Swanton; Fran and Larry Bouchard of St. Albans; Molly and Bud Grismore of St. Albans; Judy and Bill Walsh of St. Albans and Harold and Shirley Bessette of Sheldon; as well as her twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and four step-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Don DesLauriers; a special nephew, William Bressette and his wife, Sue; a sister-in-law, Mildred Rocheleau; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, marion and Wayne Young as well as many nieces and nephews.
