Compton-Aliffi
Mrs. Janet Lynn Bass Compton and Thomas Joseph Aliffi, both of Atlanta, were married June 4 at 7:30 p.m. in St. John?s Episcopal Church. The Rev. William Ralston and the Rev. Thomas Healy officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Ferman Ray Bass Jr. of St. Cloud, Fla, and Mrs. Janet Stanford Bass. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Antonio W. Aliffi Sr.
Given in marriage by her brother, Daniel R. Bass, the bride had Ms. Angela G. Bass as maid of honor. Mrs. Barbara M. Hanrahan of Sumter, S.C., was her stepsister?s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Janet S. Dawson of Atlanta, cousin of the bride, and Miss Lisa A. Martin.
Salvatore Aliffi was his brother?s best man. Ushers were Donald S. Aliffi of Hagan and Antonio W. Aliffi Jr., brothers of the groom; and Steve Oder.
Jessica B. Aliffi of Hagan, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Ringbearer was Craig R. Dawson, cousin of the bride.
After a reception in the Green-Meldrim House, the couple left for a wedding trip to Mexico.
They will live in Atlanta.
