Miss Katrina Van Wyck Engaged to H.D. Bassett
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Van Rensselaer Van Wyck of Summit, N.J., ha
announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Katrina Van Wyck, to Hulbert
Dymoke Bassett, son of Mrs. and Charles Franklin Bassett, also of Summit, but
formerly of this boro. The late Charles Franklin Bassett was president of the
East River Savings Bank and Hulbert Dymoke Bassett is, on his mother’s side,
the grandson of the late Henry C. Hulbert, who resided for many years at 49
Prospect Park, West. Mr. Bassett, who was graduated from Harvard in 191
served during the war as a lieutenant in the Army. He is a member of the Union
League and Harvard Clubs of New York City.
