He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Shreveport, La., the son of Hoyt Cecil Bass and Mary Louise Parrie Bass and was raised in Zwolle, La. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Bobby was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed taking cruises with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ray Ann Campbell Bass; daughter, Marianna Bass; son, Michael Bass; mother, Mary Bass; brothers, Howard Bass and wife Kay, Rodney Bass and Charles Bass; and sister, Patsy Bass. He was preceded in death by his father and sisters, Karen Bass and Judy Bass Miller. Special thanks to Mary Campbell Deaton and husband Rick. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Friday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville, Texas.
