Lt. Charles Bassett Weds Miss McDavitt
On Sunday, December 22 in Massachusetts
Couple Married in Old North Congregational Church,
Marblehead, to Live in Jersey
On Sunday, December 22, 1957, Miss Mary Elizabeth McDavitt, daughter of Mrs. John A. McDavitt and the late Mr. McDavitt, was married to Lt. Charles David Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton L. Bassett, of Baldwin Place. The ceremony took place in the old North Congregational church in Marblehead, Massachusetts. A reception followed at the home of the bride.
Miss Deborah Hatch of Marblehead was maid of honor and John G. Foulkes, Jr. of Yorktown Heights, brother-in-law of the bridegroom was best man.
Mrs. Bassett is a graduate of Marblehead High school class of 1955, and attended Russell Sage college of Nursing. Lt. Bassett is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, class of 1957. He is serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey.
Lt. and Mrs. Bassett will make their home in West End, New Jersey.
