Rosalie Shockley Bessette
SALISBURY, MD-Rosalie Shockley Bessette of Salisbury, MD. passed away March 9, 2014 in Grass Valley, Ca. at the age of 96. Rosalie was born in Salisbury, Md. on Sept. 11, 1917 , daughter of the late Solomon and Georgia Hearne Shockley and lived there until 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence A. Bessette, her daughter Susan Bessette Jackson and two sisters Irene Coulbourne and Dorothy Evaul. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Bessette Williamson, son-law John Wiliamson who reside in Truckee, CA. and two grandson's Joshua and Erik Williamson who reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Rosalie was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church and past member of the Women's Business Club and Wicomico County Homemakers. A memorial service was held at The Chapel of the Angels in Grass Valley, Ca. on March 14, 2014 with her immediate family. Rosalie's final resting place will be in Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury, MD. Donations may be made to the Asbury Methodist Church in her memory.
