- KENNETH C. BASSETT, 27 Aug 1975
Kenneth C. Bassett, 76, of 292 North St., died last night at the
Edgecomb Nursing Home in Lenox after a long illness.
A lifelong resident of Pittsfield, he attended local schools and was
graduated from Berkshire Business College. He was the son of Charles F. and
Catherine Voll Bassett.
Mr. Bassett was a route salesman for the former Dal Brothers Laundry
for 30 years until retiring in 1969. He had been living at the nursing home
for the past year.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald A., of Pittsfield, and two
sisters, Mrs. Kathleen C. Delaney and Mrs. Helen A. Bemiss, both of
Pittsfield.
Private funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Devanny Funeral
Home. Cremation will follow. There are no calling hours.
The omission of flowers is requested. Donations may be made to the
YMCA in Mr. Bassett's memory.
