Agnes M. Bassett Succumbs at 93 At Interlaken
INTERLAKEN, Dec. 14 ? Mrs. Agnes M. Bassett, 93, a great-grandmother of 36, died later yesterday in the Community Sanitarium here after a long illness.
She was born in Ovid and had resided in Seneca County all her life. She was a member of the Interlake Baptist Church, where she taught the advanced Bible class for many years.
She laves two daughters, Mrs. Earl Wilson of Interlaken and Mrs. Seward Brooks, Ovid; three sons, Henry G., of Watkins Glen, and Wilmer W. of Thomas W., both of Florida; a sister, Mrs. T. Judd Wright, Geneva; and, in addition to 36 great-grandchildren, she leaves 19 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hurlbut Funeral Home, Interlaken, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Harlan H. Clayotn, Baptist pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Anthony P. Dykstra of the Interlaken Reformed Church. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
