Bonny T. Bassett
GREENFIELD, Mass. ? Bonny T. Bassett, 51, formerly of South Berwick, Maine, died July 30, 2004, at the Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, following a period of ill health.
She was born in Shamokin, Pa., on Feb. 24, 1953, a daughter of Gordon and Eva (Schuck) Phillips.
She was the wife of Kerry Bassett.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she was well known for her love of children. From 1986 until 2001, she was a teacher?s assistant in the preschool at Central School in South Berwick, Maine.
She was always ready to assist anyone in need.
While in Greenfield, she was a member of ?Curves?.
Members of her family include her husband, Kerry Bassett of Greenfield; her sons, Mark Stello of South Berwick, Maine, and Kerry G. Bassett of Westbrook, Maine; her daughters, Patrice McLean of Berwick, Maine, and Brooke Bassett of Boston, Mass.; her mother, Eva Nye of Pennsylvania; her brothers, Lance Phillips of California and Dan Phillips of Pennsylvania; and a sister, Patty Reyes of Arizona.
Her two grandchildren, Shai Stello and Tyrone McLean also survive her.
BASSETT ? Bonny T. Bassett, 51, of Greenfield, Mass., formerly of South Berwick, Maine, died July 30, 2004. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, in the McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St., South Berwick, Maine. Following the service, a gathering will be held at the Marshwood Middle School, Route 326, South Berwick. The family asks that donations be made in Bonny?s memory to: ?Charitable Contributions,?
