Patricia A. ?Patty? Spirko (1955 ? 2018) (Picture included)
Patricia A. "Patty" Spirko, 62, of New Cumberland, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was a graduate of Bishop Hannan High School of Scranton. She was a retired licensed practical nurse from Messiah Village. She became a nurse at Brady Hall in the former Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing program. She was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly, children and adored babies. She had a very caring perspective on health care.
She was born Nov. 29, 1955, in Scranton to the late William J. Bassett and Evelyn McCue-Bassett. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joshua Spirko.
She is survived by her husband, David R. Spirko; son, David Spirko; three sisters, Mary Ann Coar and Lynne Robinson, of Scranton; and Connie Sullivan, of South Weymouth, Mass.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday (May 4, 2018) at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Private interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
