Alexander Carl Bass
Funeral services for Alexander Carl Bass, 75, of Rosharon, Texas, will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Palestine Missionary Baptist Church, 7414 Daniels Road, Rosharon, Texas, where Reverend D.G. Jackson, will be officiating. Alexander, better known as "A.C." was born to Johnnie Bass and Effie Bass. He was also nurtured by his stepmother, Mrs. Minnie Bass. A.C. loved life, and his favorite pastime was playing pool, dominoes, hunting, and fishing. A.C. leaves to cherish his wonderful memory to his children, Johnny Bass (Brandy), Vickie Gill (Desmond), Alexandria Bass and Janice Young (Ira); his 17 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; his siblings, Willie Mae (Tyrone), George Bass, Gregory Bass (Mary Ann), Mildred Matthews, Charles Bass (Willie Mae), Lee Bass (Linda), Mary Bass, Samuel Bass (Kathleen), Gloria Shelton, Frank Bass (Emmie) and Viola Bass (Calvin); his ex-wife Rosetta Grice; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by the services celebrating his life at 11:00 a.m. Final and Most Sacred Arrangements entrusted to Gardner Funeral Home, 507 West Orange Street, Angleton, Texas (979) 849-6379.
