      Henry Lewis Bass, 93, of Lexington, died Wednesday.
      Born in Fairfield County, he was a son of the late Henry and Mrs. Mattie Branham Bass. He was a retired, self-employed farmer and a member of Central Baptist Church.
      Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Louise Hagins of Columbia; sons, Henry T. Bass of Gaston, R. L. Bass of Columbia and Clyde T. Bass of Chapin; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
      Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Reverend W. Looyd Hellams. Burial will follow in Olympia Cemetery.
      Pallbearers will be Brice Connon, Clyde N. Browder Sr., Clyde N. Browder Jr., Wilbert Wages Jr., J.W. Sox and Colie Kirkland.
      Memorials may be made to the Rikard Nursing Home.
      Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is in charge.
