Simon Bass
CLINTON ? Simon Bass, 62, died in the Sampson County Memorial Hospital here Thursday following a lengthy illness.
He was a retired farmer of Rt. 3, Clinton.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. in the Royal Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Hubert Byrd and the Rev. R.M. Brown. Burial will be in the Bass Family Cemetery on Rt. 3 Clinton.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frances Bass; a daughter, Mrs. Clara Tart of Raleigh; a son, Floyd Bass of Clinton; six brothers, A.L. Bass, Dick Bass, Mossett Bass, Charlie Bass, Richard bass and Doci Bass of Rt. 3 Clinton; and five grandchildren.
