  Notes	State Columbia, South Carolina Wednesday, December 23, 1998 Carrie Hood Blythewood - Funeral services for Carrie Bass Hood, 86, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 24, 1998, at Harmony Baptist Church, Elgin. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home. Mrs. Hood, widow of Willie D. Hood, died Tuesday, December 22, 1998, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late H.K. Bass and Sarah Roberts Bass. She retired from U.S Rubber Company and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Willie Mae Sharpe and her husband, James W., and Dorothy Crout and her husband, J.C. all of Blythewood; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Pearle Albert of Topeka, Kansas. She was predeceased by her granddaughters, Glenda Vanessa Crout and Sandra Crout Day.
